Album 2 - R.I.B.I. Presidents, Pages 56-59, 61, 101-103
J. L. WATCHURST
Jim served R.I.B.I. with distinction as Vice-President 1956-57. He was elected President in April 1957 and became President on July 1st, 1957.
Attended Lucerne International Convention in May. On July 5th, 1957 he was suddenly stricken and passed away.
Had he lived he would have served R.I.B.I. with dignity and efficiency, then a year as Immediate Past President and then no doubt a year on the International Board of R.I. His passing was a sad loss to Rotary.
